Wise Gies Construction is a family business. Kurt and Lana Gies live here, work here and serve here — and the yard signs you see around town belong to neighbors who trusted us with their homes.
We believe the way you treat people is the business. Honesty, integrity and loyalty are not slogans on a truck; they are how we run every project from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.

Professional Experience
Kurt has constructed numerous commercial and government projects throughout the world, including office buildings, medical buildings, doctor’s offices, restaurants, pharmacies, salons, shops and warehouses.
He is also a licensed Reverse Mortgage Specialist and has spent 11 years helping seniors use the equity in their homes — experience that helps our Aging In-place clients plan and pay for the renovations they need.
Military Service
Kurt is a U.S. Navy veteran. The discipline, accountability and follow-through he learned in the service still shape how our crews run a job site today.
